Quilting has been a passion of mine since I was 17! I had my first “taste” of quilting when I was about 17. Hand quilting has been a part of my income for many years. When I was introduced to a Gammill Long arm machine, things really took off. Wow, what fun! I have been using a Gammill for about 12 years now. I especially enjoy freehand, and in front of the machine creativity. Each quilt top is treated as the one of a kind treasure my clients share with me.
I charge $25.00 an hour for the quilting that I do. I find this to be a great way to work. If you want a lot of quilting on your quilt, it costs more. Less quilting, less cost. I charge a 5.00 thread charge, and yes, I do bind quilts. I can do either machine or hand bound quilts. Turn-around time is usually (but not always) about 3 to 4 weeks. I can supply batting or you can bring your own. Ask me what kinds I carry on the contact page.
